Pilot awards are focused on supporting new collaborations between materials and organic electronic researchers with biomedical researchers that propose projects related to Bioelectronics or Nanomedicine.

2024 Pilot awards

  1. Drs. John Gensel & Francis Farhadi “Biomarker and modeling degenerative cervical myelopathy”, co-funded by the SCoBIRC.

  2. Drs. Jason DeRouchey and Daniel Pack “Innovative Mixed Charge Polymers for Targeted siRNA Delivery in Breast Cancer Treatment”, co-funded by the MCC.

  3. Dr. Brittany Givens Rassoolkhani “Developing Therapeutic Poly(caprolactone) Nanoparticles for Endometrial Drug Delivery Applications”, co-funded by the MCC.
